Earth, Air, and Water, represented here in a Celtic spirit by a gathering of each element's natives. From the rabbit of Earth, to the butterfly of Earth and Air; from the sassy magpie of Air, to the dragonfly of Air and Water; and from the salmon of Water to the turtle of Water and Earth, they are all connected in a web of life (note the indispensible bee and the web-weaving spider...), symbolized by the Celtic Trinity Knot.
On a handwoven Canopy motif by Greentree Weaving, with a thrifted corduroy backing stitched in green: there are two layers of recycled blue jean inside for extra protection for hands and tables. This sturdy, freeform potholder measures apporximately 7" wide x 9".
