One of a very limited group of cards, the background fabric is vintage Souleiado print.  Souleiado is the iconic maker of (at the time) hand-blockprinted French Provence cottons fabrics.  Much sought-after and collectible, these come from a family trove from decades ago.  This card is embellished with a panel of royal blue carnation motif silk woven ribbon, framed by a simpler diamond pattern ribbon, also vintage from France.  The edging of fine, vintage, hand-tatted lace is the finishing touch on this brilliantly colorful card!
