The base is a sweet, pale mint green Soleiado print, with roses and navy details, fabric of Very Limited availability. Souleiado is the iconic maker of (at the time) hand-blockprinted French Provence cottons fabrics. Much sought-after and collectible, these come from a family trove from decades ago. This one comes from my aunt's favorite summer dress. The card is embellished with a wide strip of vintage, hand-tatted lace (1.5") and a thin navy edging, and hearts made of white repurposed dish towel, pink Vintage French silk, and dark rose silk Sari. The finishing touch is the tiny shell button. Stamped with vintage French flower stamps: lily of the valley, Easter lily, and morning glory.
