This purse is a found treasure: all of a scrap of vintage, hand woven Greentree Weaving shirt weight fabric so old no one seems to remember its original name. Knowing the weaver as I do, I have named it Prairie Flower: the colors of first greens and blossoms amoungst the gravel and dry grasses of the high priaires of the West. Paired with a subtle floral print and a hand made (by me) Mexican oyster shell button, it boasts a divider with button and loop closure, a pocket sized for cell phone or glasses, and a pocket for pens. It measures 8 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" tall, and has a coordinating strap (Bronze motif) 54" long.
Prairie Flower MEDIUM Purse
As the material is 100% preshrunk cotton, laundering is easy, should it become necessary. Make sure every pocket is empty, of course. Turn inside out. Tie the strap into a large knot to minimize tangling. Wash warm and line or tumble dry gentle.
