The billowing clouds dwarf the ranks of mountains fading into the distance. The dow surveys this past the river valley, from the shelter of tha tall pine tree, in the company of a mouse, a squirrel, and a dove, all seemingly as rapt as she. Made from a variety of motifs of fabulous handwoven cotton by Greentree Weaving, and using techiniques developed by me to create still more texture, this nearly becomes soft sculpture.
The cover is stabilized inside with green checked shirting and backed with thrifted corduroy, all materials pre-shrunk. The cushion interior is stuffed with scraps and threads from my work bench. The pillow is built with corner tabs and a velcro closure so the cushion stays in nicely but can be removed easily to launder..
This beuatiful Pillow measures approximately 15"wide by 22" when flat.
