Tortoises are special, even mysterious in their inscrutable way! They certainly deserve their place in Celtic lore... Use this coaster as they do their shell: to protect. Free hand embroidered on my straight-stitch sewing machine on thrifted corduroy, backed with heavy handwoven fabric by Greentree Weaving in the Canopy motif. Between these two layers are 2 more of repurposed blue jean for added protection.
Measures approximately 4" by 4".
Laundering: As the material is 100% preshrunk cotton, laundering is easy, should it become necessary. Wash warm and line or tumble dry gentle.
