Morning Glories are tenacious, prolific, even invasive, yet irresistible, with their luscious, delicate cups so imbued with color: from rich and velvet-y to palest pastel. Forms of grace at every stage too, from swirled tight bud to crown-like faded blossom, even their seed pods are intriguing and beautiful.
Free-hand embroidered on my straight-stitch sewing machine on handwoven Lavender Fields motif cloth and thrifted teal green corduroy, with two layers of repurposed blue jean sandwiched between, a sturdy and beuatiful protection for your hands and furniture. This potholder measures about 6 1/2" x 7 1/2".
