Autumn is the season for harvesting, and the smallest creatures know this too!  This squirrel is reaching for an apple (we know how greedy they can be!), and there's a small finch hanging from the sunflower head to find seeds there...  A great way to remember the outdoors would once we've retreated to hot cups of comfort indoors!  
Free hand embroidered on my straight-stitch sewing machine on thrifted corduroy, backed with handwoven fabric by Greentree Weaving in the Sunflower motif. Between these two layers are 2 more of repurposed blue jean for added protection.
Measure approximately 4" by 4".
Laundering: As the material is 100% preshrunk cotton, laundering is easy, should it become necessary. Wash warm and line or tumble dry gentle.
