The translation of the beauty of Agate stones into a soft medium like hand woven cotton textile is a prime example of the Greentree Weaving genius: Subtle and Elegant, yet also lively. This purse has curves and angles, like a well-polished rock. The perfect lining is this gold-touched, star-spangled print in grays. In searching through my button collection for a button to complete the composition, I passed by many 6-pointed stars. Finally, this one popped up: vintage, made of hand carved gray shell with glints of gold tones, echoing the cloth. (Look closely: my husband later pointed out that it has 9 points rather than the eight I assumed! Haha!)
Inside, a divider -where I was able to use the lovely printed design band of the lining- with a button (another, smaller, vintage shell button) and loop, and 2 pockets add functionality.
This pursse measures 9" wide (7" at the mouth) by 10", with a 60" strap.
